Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare two round cake pans with non-stick spray and parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix sugar and vegetable oil until smooth; add eggs one at a time followed by buttermilk and blue food coloring until well combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
