- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (light)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 1 cup crushed OREO cookies (Double-Stuffed recommended)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until combined.
- Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt; fold into wet ingredients without overmixing.
- Stir in red food coloring and gently fold in crushed OREOs.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow cooling before slicing into squares.
