  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess fat and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer meat sauce, lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese dollops, mozzarella cheese, and basil. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last 15 minutes to achieve a golden crust.
  6. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
