- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground sausage (spicy or mild)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and crumbly.
- In a bowl, blend cream cheese with Cajun seasoning until smooth.
- In a baking dish, spread marinara sauce at the bottom. Layer with lasagna noodles, followed by sausage, creamy filling, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Sprinkle fresh herbs on top before slicing into portions.
