- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 large eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until softened (5-7 minutes).
- Push veggies aside and brown the ground beef (about 8 minutes).
- Stir in garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce; mix well.
- In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese with beaten eggs until smooth; fold in cheddar cheese.
- Pour the cheese mixture over the meat and veggies; stir gently to combine.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with reserved cheese, and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
