Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix pitted cherries with half the brown sugar and half the maple syrup. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, sliced almonds, cinnamon, and softened butter until crumbly.
- Drizzle remaining maple syrup over the mixture and fold gently.
- Spread the topping evenly over the cherries and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
