- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3. Place the seasoned chicken in the skillet and sear undisturbed for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Flip the chicken.
- 4. Add remaining butter, parsley, paprika, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chicken as it cooks for another 5-7 minutes.
- 5. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Drizzle additional sauce over the chicken before serving.
