- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on the counter; chop garlic finely and zest lemons.
- (Optional) In a skillet, sear chicken breasts over medium-high heat until golden brown, then transfer to the crockpot.
- Add chicken broth, lemon juice, capers, garlic, and white wine (if using) to the crockpot.
- Season generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Stir in butter until melted; sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
