- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil (plus more for searing)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare by clearing your countertop and preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and olive oil. Coat the chicken well in the marinade and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each piece of marinated chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 5 minutes per side).
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over it. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and caramelized.
- Let the chicken rest briefly before slicing. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
