Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix pancake mix with water or milk until smooth; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
- Layer half of the pancake batter, followed by sausage and half of the cheese in the greased dish. Repeat layers.
- Whisk eggs and milk together; pour evenly over the layered casserole.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top and set in the center.
- Serve warm, drizzled generously with maple syrup.
