Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until free of lumps.
- Add wet ingredients into the dry mix: milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool the cake for a bit in the pan, then turn it out onto a wire rack.
