Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Pans by greasing and flouring two heart-shaped cake pans.
  3. Cream the Butter and Sugar until light and fluffy for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the Eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in Liquids, pouring in the milk and vanilla extract and stirring until combined.
  6. Combine Dry Ingredients, whisking together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Divide the Batter evenly into prepared pans, smoothing the tops.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool Completely in pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Frost and Decorate once cooled with buttercream and toppings.
