Method
 

Basic Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  6. Combine the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder in another bowl.
  7. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
  8. Pour the batter into your prepared heart-shaped pan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
  11. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  12. Frost the cooled cake with whipped cream and top with strawberries and chocolate ganache.
